The “Not-So-Secret” Secrets of Getting our Groove Back
Ladies, if you have optimum health and look young for your age, it is no accident. You’ve worked at it and deserve the accolades. Congratulations! You have accomplished something that most older women do not. It is certainly our birthright and all of us are entitled to them, but there are varying degrees of health and youth. It all depends on your interpretation and how badly you want them.
If you ask most women, they will tell you that they are fairly healthy and young-looking. Even though they look terrible, have poor skin colour, circles under their eyes and are carrying excess weight, they look young……or at least younger than their friends!
The “not-so-secret” secret to looking young is optimum health. You have a right to be healthy but it doesn’t come at the snap of your fingers. It can easily be accomplished by implementing a few simple things into your daily life. Are you up for it?
Working at it means eating a diet right 4 your blood type; drinking 8-10 glasses of filtered water every day; getting 8 hours’ sleep each night; exercising a minimum of 30 minutes a day, 3 times a week and taking the appropriate supplements. You also need to reduce the stress and tell everyone to stand in line while you take time for yourself.
Unfortunately, we tend to only recognize sickness or a lack of health when we are struck down by a serious disease. We ignore the quiet early symptoms and endure our headaches, other aches and pains, stiff muscles, indigestion and heartburn. We think that these are inevitable signs of old age and something to be endured. Not true! Our busy lives are also keeping us from finding the time to pay attention. If this sounds like you, please stop right now and find out what is going on. All these little things that you are enduring are adding wrinkles to your face and stealing your youth and your health.
Next to being overweight or obese, smoking is also one of the worst offenders for creating craggy old faces. Both of these will make you look a lot older than your actual age. Just pull out an old photo album to see what I mean. It will certainly be a wake-up call. I dare you!
Ladies, you can get your groove back and look fabulous again. You just need to get the weight off, lose the grey hair, get healthy and ask everyone to back off while you go through the process.
