Why Should I Listen to Your Pitch?

I am new to the online networking and forum game.  I’ve done a lot of face-to-face networking over the years, which I was initially not comfortable with, but I persevered and now quite enjoy meeting new people. I have not actively done much online networking however.  It is a whole new world that I didn’t really know how to get into….until now.

The suggestion came in last week followed by the right email with different sites recommended.  That got me started and now I am a networking fool!

There is just one thing that gets my goat that I don’t understand.

If you are not a prospect for me, why should I be a prospect for you?

I look at every profile of every person who has greeted me.  I also look at those that happen to appear on the page I am currently on.  So far, that’s not a lot but at least I want to give someone the same courtesy that I hope they are showing me.  The only problem is that some of the profiles have this big message about how they are not a prospect for anyone else’s product or service because they are happy with what they are doing.

I can certainly appreciate that because I don’t want to be spammed with every offer under the sun either.  As well as business partners, I am looking for life-long friendships.

I am in the health business and have a legitimate, “brick-and-mortar” type business in my home.  It’s cheaper to run my office there rather than renting another location.  I also sell some products, both from my distributors and my network marketing contacts.

You just might have something that I haven’t seen before so I promise to be open to looking.  Health products are only one category of the many, many things that are for sale today.  It is only one aspect of my life too so you may just have something that will either complement my business or will better my lifestyle in general.

As well, I am a member of the Global Information Network.  It is a private member’s club that has an affiliate program attached to it much like in network marketing.  I am looking for other like-minded people who would like to be a member and benefit as much as I have.

If you don’t look at my opportunity and I, in turn, don’t look at yours, we are going to go around and around in circles and never attract any new people to our businesses.

So, if you want me to look at your stuff, you need to lighten up and look at mine.  One day when your business goes south and you are looking for a new company, I may not want to work with you.  Ask me how many of my companies went in that direction……

We need to support each other.  It can’t just be about you.

The Best MasterMind Group Anywhere

Leaders: Identify yourselves.  Do you mastermind and share ideas with each other?

Napoleon Hill talks about the Master Mind in his book The Law of Success in 16 Lessons.  He identifies a Master Mind as a means by which a person can gain knowledge through the harmonious alliance of two or more minds.  Out of this alliance grows the Master Mind.

The benefits of a Master Mind are plentiful.  It will unlock doors which would otherwise be closed.  Outstanding success will also appear in any business or profession if the principles are applied.

Being in a Mastermind Group with like-minded people will provide you with the help and support you will need in your growth towards realizing your dream.  At the same time, you will be helping other members of the mastermind group to reach their dreams as well.

The group will also keep you accountable for your actions and going in the direction of your dream.

The finest international mastermind group in existence today is GIN.  The Global Information Network is for those who want to get personal development, training and growth beyond any program available to the public.

The training and events included are absolutely free to members, making this a very unique life tool.  Tens of thousands of dollars of actual training and programs are available to members at no additional cost including a lifetime membership in NaturalCures.com and all their functions, at no additional cost.

A Master Mind group is so powerful that the possibilities are unlimited. Its strength will also remain in effect as long as there is a friendly alliance between the individual minds.  If this alliance becomes broken, the Master Mind will then disintegrate and disappear.

You will never be successful alone.  Find a Master Mind group and become an active member.  Can’t find one?  Try GIN.

January Dirty Bits

One of my current favourite songs on the radio is called “The Time” by Black Eyed Peas.  It is a mash-up of “I’ve Had the Time of My Life” from the movie Dirty Dancing and a totally different, more up-to-date song composed by the Peas.

What links the two pieces of music are the short lyrics “Dirty Bit”. The result, in my opinion, is a brilliant piece of musical composition.

If you are unsure what I am talking about, or are not familiar with the current Top 40 hits, you can watch for its performance during the half-time show at the Super Bowl game on February 6th.  I am betting that the Peas will open the show with this song accompanied by the cast of Glee.

Anyway, I have stolen their idea.  I feel that “Dirty Bits” is an appropriate title for this week’s health information.  I am listing the dirty little secrets that Ihave learned already this year……and 2011 is only 2 weeks old.  It is up to you whether or not you make use of what i write but always remember that I genuinely care.  Heed the warnings.

1.  A Little Sweetener with Your GMO:

We all know Aspartame as that little sweetener found in many sugar-free products like diet pop, puddings, gum and candy.  Common names on labels are Splenda and NutraSweet.

GMO’s, on the other hand, are genetically-modified foods in which the DNA of plants is changed.  (They are also experimenting on animals.)  This alteration is created to resist disease and eliminate the need for pesticides.

Common GMO’s are soybean, corn, canola, tomatoes, sugar beets, sugar cane, rice, papaya and multiple others.

The concept of GMO foods seems smart enough but only when it comes to a longer shelf life and big profits.  By exposing these foods to the radiation and chemicals required to make the changes, it also alters the genetic material and makes them unsafe for consumption.

Aspartame + GMO’s = the makings of a health disaster.

I recently discovered that Aspartame has been created from a genetically-modified bacteria since the late 90′s.

That’s big bad news for anyone who thinks they are saving calories with sugar-free foods.

2.  Cancer Triumph or Tragedy?

According to a recent CBC News report, researchers are “this close” to developing a new blood test so sensitive that it will be able to detect one small cancer cell in your body. They will finally be able to find that proverbial needle in a haystack.

Don’t be so quick to jump for joy though.

It’s a great discovery…..but only for those people who make money from the cancer “industry”.  It basically means that they will be able to get you in sooner for treatments such as radiation, chemotherapy and various drug treatments.  As much as you don’t want to know this, the treatments will kill you faster than that one cancer cell.

This testing is being developed strictly so that cancers can be detected in their infancy stage and the appropriate treatments can be started earlier.

We all have cancer cells in our bodies at various times.  The body easily eliminates them when you are healthy.  They only develop into tumours when your body becomes too acidic.

3.  You Don’t Know FluMist

Have you noticed the TV commercials lately for this new flu vaccine?  It is now easier for you to get your flu shot and FluMist is making that possible.  No more needles for all you scaredy-cats.  You can now “take it up the nose” and be protected painlessly.

Don’t be fooled though.  Look closely at the ingredients of this new miracle vaccine before you get in line.

Under “Other Ingredients”, the first one listed is Monosodium Glutamate, the same MSG flavour enhancer that has been taken out of our Chinese food.  If it is not good enough for our Chinese buffet, why then is it good enough to snort up our noses?

If you decide to get the FluMist vaccine, don’t forget to ask for the fortune cookie.  You’ll need a good one.  This vaccine is more dangerous than you will ever know.

4.  Need Estrogen?

Bisphenol-A is the estrogen-mimicking chemical that is in our plastic water bottles and the linings of many food cans.  It has been all over the news for months so you are likely already aware of it and taking the necessary steps to eliminate the chemical from your life.

Not so fast.  It is somewhere else that you haven’t even considered.

BPA is also used as a coating on our ATM and other cash register receipts.  It is primarily used to protect the paper from being marked in other ways.

Where else is it lurking….on our food wrappers, boxes, cartons…..on your hands?  Buyer beware!

5.  How’s Your Heartburn?

The prescribed medications for the “disease” acid reflux, better known as good old heartburn, include Nexium, Prilosec and Prevacid.  Many of you are taking them regularly.  I want you to know that they now come with a warning that they may make your bones brittle and subsequently cause fractures.

Sticks and stones may break my bones but drugs will surely hurt me.

6.  Who Eats This Stuff?

McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets have over 30 ingredients in them.  Most of them are not listed on their posted ingredient list.  Quaker Peaches and Cream Instant Oatmeal has no peaches.  They are dehydrated apples with red dye #5.  Betty Crocker Carrot Cake has no carrots.  Yogurt-covered raisins are not coated with yogurt and a container of Shrimp Cup O’Noodles contains no shrimp, just the flavouring.

Most packaging on the grocer’s shelf is misleading and there are things in your food that you are not being told about.  Don’t buy this stuff and certainly don’t eat it.  Next time you go to the grocery store, carry a magnifying glass so that you can read the labels!

So, What Should You Do?

1.  Take control of your own health.  You don’t need “healthcare”.  You need your own care.  Take charge.  Make wise decisions.  Be aware.

2.  Don’t take a prescription drug unless you are in a crisis and need immediate help.  Don’t rely on them for health issues that can be managed in more natural ways like diet.

3.  Read labels.  Avoid GMO’s and processed foods that include chemicals, preservatives and dyes.

4.  Avoid vaccines.

Don’t give away your body to the system.  Live the life that is good for you and refuse everything else.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my birthday.  It’s Sunday, January 2nd and the day after New Year’s, 2011.  I woke up late this morning to many birthday greetings posted on my Facebook page.  That was a great start!

A few of my friends and relatives have called and a few others I will hear from tonight.  Some of my friends haven’t even put up their new calendars yet so they have forgotten temporarily.  I’ll hear from them later.  Others have sent me cards, as they always do.  Thank you everyone!  I love my friends!

Some people I know won’t be back to work until tomorrow so they will miss my birthday completely.  Their work email address is my only contact information.  They will then send belated greetings.  There are others whom I won’t hear from at all and I am okay with that.  I’ll remember them on their day.

Originally, I was supposed to be a New Year’s baby.  Instead, my mother decided to go to a party on the 31st so my birth was delayed until the 2nd.  At least that is what I was told.  Maybe that is why I have always enjoyed a good party.  It turned out for the best as I was the only baby in the nursery and got all the attention.  The nurses called me “Peanut” because I was only 6 lbs. 4 oz .  I was pretty cute too and bald.

My name “Janet Lynn” comes from my mother’s sister, “Jeanette”, and my mother, “Elinore”.  My Dad always called her Lynn for short. It was the 50′s, what can I say??

Through our younger years, my brother would tease me and say that our parents always held back a gift from Christmas so that I would have one to open for my birthday.  I never believed that although I now know that it was one more thing that my mother would have to take care of during the holiday season.

Anyone with a child whose birthday is during the Christmas week knows this to be true.  It’s not the best time to have a birthday.  A lot of kids feel ripped off.

As I got older and partied in the bars (yes, I used to do that), I would always say that everyone was either too sick or too broke to celebrate my birthday.  It might have been an excuse that I felt comfortable with.  I had many sad birthdays over the years.

When I got a little older still, I always made sure that I had the day off from work so that I could take myself out for some shopping, lunch and a show.  Everyone else was working so I partied alone.  Here’s a hint:  The early part of January is the very best time for bargains and I’m a great shopper!

This year is a little different but definitely not sad.  My 89-year-old mother is home for the day.  Generally, she is in a VON Day Programme that has been absolutely wonderful for us.  Today, they are closed to give the staff an extra day off.  They deserve it.

Any plans that we have made for “my day” will have to be postponed until next weekend but that’s okay.  I am just grateful that my mother is still with us and healthy, albeit forgetful.

Since I have time on my hands today to reflect on this new year and my new “number”, I want to give YOU a present.

Everyone I know is struggling with some type of “issue”.  It might be related to their health, finances, family or work.  Although I have ideas for all of these, I can specifically help with the health aspect.

As a result, I have 2 gifts for you in honour of my birthday:

1.  For the month of January, I am offering a 2-hour session in-person for $99 (regularly $125).  This will include a comprehensive questionnaire, live and layered blood analysis, blood typing, recommendations and a detailed report emailed to you for your review.

2.  For those of you who live outside the area, I am offering a one-hour health coaching session.  We all have the natural ability to correct our own issues.  I can help you to go within to come up with your own solutions.  Cost:  $45 for one session or $179 a month for multiple sessions by phone and email.

With my support, you can jumpstart 2011 to make it your healthiest one yet.  Just because you too are getting older doesn’t mean that you have to go downhill.  Let’s put the brakes on before we all get to the bottom.  I have the treadmill ready to go tomorrow.

If 2010 has left you plumper, a little under the weather or lacking in energy, I can help.  Call 705-743-2755 now or email info@janetwoods.ca to book and get back on track for 2011.

Happy Birthday to me and all the best to you.  Thank you!

Dream Big for 2011

As we approach the New Year, it is NOT the time to reflect back on 2010 and lick our wounds or vow to do better.  It is time to march forward.  2011 is going to be a magnificent year for those of us who have decided that it shall be so.

Happy New Year!  See you in 2011.

Don’t Be a Stuffed Turkey This Year

Ten Ways Not to Be a Stuffed Turkey This Christmas

1. Eat organic wherever possible.

The turkey that you are admiring in the local grocery store has likely been pumped full of dangerous antibiotics and hormones in order to plump it up.  They are also developed to plump you up.  If you can afford something better, buy it!  Organic tastes so much better than these drug-injected birds.

Recently, a gentleman and I were looking into the freezer case of the local grocery store. There was a brand-new display of utility turkeys that were on sale.  Being the outspoken person that I am, I quipped to him “I wonder what they pumped these turkeys full of?”  They were HUGE!  He and I had a good laugh about it before walking away without a turkey.

2. Include a large salad with the main dinner.

Whenever I attend a family dinner, I always take the salad.  I have a very simple but yummy salad dressing that everyone enjoys.  Besides being tasty, it is also so much better for you than the commercial, fat-laden ones found on the grocers’ shelves.  I have also found that if I fill up on a salad, I am less likely to fill up on the other fattening foods.

3.  Emphasize lots of vegetables with the main meal

……and I don’t mean just potatoes, corn, peas and carrots.  Try something different this year.  There are lots of wonderful green and root vegetables that are healthy and will make a great addition to the dinner.  If you need recipes, just Google “Bon Appetit” or “Epicurious” for great ideas.

4.  Drink lots of filtered water during the day.  (link – www.ewater.com/drjanet)

Dehydration is an overlooked contributor to stress.  Pangs of hunger may also simply be your body’s cry for water instead.  Drinking lots of water will keep you hydrated throughout the day and make you less-likely to crack open a pop or other sugar-sweet drink.  The aspartame in diet pop is also very dangerous and will make you fat!

5.  Eat a big healthy breakfast.

Skipping breakfast, besides being a diet faux pas, will also make you more tired and add to the stress of the day.  It will also help you to avoid “the starve and stuff syndrome”.  (I just made that up!)  Eating a good breakfast will help you to say no to the appetizers and snack food usually served before the big meal.

6.  Try your best to stay away from all foods high in sugar, refined carbohydrates, food additives, preservatives and processed.

Read the labels on all food products that you purchase.  If you don’t know what it is, don’t eat it.  All these items are bad for your health will have devastating effects over the long run.

7.  Move!

Exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes per day at least 3 times a week.  Go for a walk, enjoy the outdoors and participate in a sport, get out the Wii and start dancing.  Whatever gets you moving is a good choice.  It will also help to burn off those extra calories.

8.  Take your supplements.

If you insist on eating a lot of junk, at least you can maintain your health.  Taking nutritional supplements that are right for your blood type is the optimum choice.  They are formulated specifically for your specific requirements.  Don’t know your blood type?  Call me at 705-743-2755.

9.  Practise relaxation exercises or meditation

These will go a long way to reduce stress.  They will also help you to avoid over-eating and to maintain an overall good feeling about yourself.  Reading a good book will also distract you away from the fridge.  I’ve found a fabulous site where you can download audios for your iPod or MP3 player.  The first one is FREE too!  Amazon, audible podcast

10. Get adequate amounts of sleep.

8 hours of good quality sleep during the holidays will be easy if you maintain the same bedtime.  Besides, this gives you less time to eat!

11. I didn’t forget alcohol.

Several blood types do not tolerate alcohol well.  Go here to find out if that is you.  Your blood type food list can be downloaded for free and can be a helpful guide this season.

Bon appétit and enjoy the holiday season!  Merry Christmas!

Kidney Stones are a Pain in the Back

This is a story about my own husband’s problems with kidney stones. I just had to tell you his story. Maybe you are having the same problem and need help.

Have you also been suffering with kidney stones? You get rid of one but they just keep coming back? Keep reading and I will tell you about my husband’s story and how I finally found a solution for him that relieved the pain and kept them from returning.

Dan had been suffering from recurring kidney stones for years, long before I met him. It all began back in 1994. At the time, he was working as a Shipping-Receiving Clerk that involved a lot of moderate to heavy lifting.

One day, he was lifting some boxes when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his back. He thought for sure that he had pulled a muscle.

Not being able to move or continue working, his boss hustled him to the car so that he could take him to the ER Dept. of the local hospital. Don’t forget that employers are always worried about employee injuries and related compensation.

All bent over and barely able to sit in the chair, Dan waited to be called in to see a doctor.

In the meantime, the pain was so severe that he could hardly move. All he wanted to do was lay down and die. He also thought that he was going to be sick. A nurse spotted him and hurriedly got him to a bed.

While they poked and prodded and did extensive testing, Dan was in la-la land hooked up to a morphine drip and popping muscle relaxants. At this point, the testing was inconclusive so he was admitted in order that he could undergo further testing.

After extensive blood work, an x-ray and multiple other tests, including a little physiotherapy, the doctors still could not determine the cause of the pain but attributed it to his lower back.

He laid there for 4 days and still there was no conclusive diagnosis. He was finally released with a prescription for painkillers and sent home.

Another 4 days later, while going to the washroom, he passed a kidney stone. Imagine a hard stone, the size of a small pea being passed through the urethra! They say that the pain is worse than childbirth. Being male, he cannot make a comparison but he does know that it was excruciating! The good thing was that now he had a true diagnosis and it wasn’t even close to the back injury that the doctors were insisting was wrong.

This all happened before I met him or had attended alternative medicine college. At that time, I wouldn’t have been much help.

Since that time, Dan has suffered on and off with kidney stones. Each time he feels a pain in his back and we know right away that it is another stone. After awhile, you get good at recognizing your own symptoms and analyzing the problem.

Every time it does happen, off he goes to the doctor for more x-rays, painkillers and muscle relaxants. Eventually, he passes the stone but not without much pain and anguish and usually some lost days of work.

One time, he was referred to an Urologist, a specialist in Urinary System ailments. This particular doctor gave him the option of another course of action – Lithotripsy. It seemed like a good idea to Dan except that he couldn’t get an appointment for 2 months! He booked it anyway.

This is a procedure where they blast the stone(s) with ultrasonic waves. It was a painless treatment but took almost an hour and half to complete. Since we have medical coverage, it was a free procedure but Dan also had another unpaid day of work.

I’m attending school by this time but I still don’t know how to help him. Also remember that much of his problems happened before every home had a computer and the internet. We didn’t know where to turn for information.

Every spring, like clockwork, Dan used to get a kidney stone. After awhile, I got fed up and decided to look for a solution to his problem and also the reason why this was happening to him all the time.

Enough was enough!! I could no longer stand to see him suffer. By now, we had access to the internet so I started my research.

That’s when I found a great site about eliminating kidney stones naturally.

I was quite skeptical at first because I knew that it was a site designed to sell a product but I read through the entire page and really found it quite informative and dead-on.

It revealed how to dissolve and pass a kidney stone, painlessly, in less than 24 hours using a very safe, natural home remedy.

The article went on to say that Dan could be pain-free in just a few short hours. He would no longer have to visit the hospital or book a doctor’s appointment. Never again would he have to experience the pain and suffering that he had endured for years.

Did I make the purchase? You bet I did. I had nothing to lose but a husband’s kidney stone.

I downloaded the booklet and we started to read. The remedies and food choices that were recommended are very simple to implement and Dan made the changes right away.

Once he started these simple suggestions, the pain subsided in a very short time, in less than an hour. No more visits to the hospital or doctor for him. He now knows what to do.

Since Dan has been using these remedies and following the simple diet changes, he hasn’t had another problem with kidney stones – and I doubt if he ever will again.

So, that’s how Dan beat kidney stones. He didn’t use any over-the-counter drugs nor did he have to undergo another treatment. Just a few simple natural remedies and new eating habits are all it took. As a result, we both endorse the information in this booklet 100%.  I couldn’t have written it better myself!

Thanks for listening! Janet

The Best Money-Making Opportunity for 2011

The First Key to Success is Timing – Bill Gates

If you are lucky, maybe once in your lifetime a day will come where you will have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a money-making opportunity that can almost guarantee your success.

Today is that day.  Everything happens for a reason.  That’s why you are reading this article on this day and at this moment.

In 1996, a very successful, wealthy friend of mine launched a multi-level marketing program. This man is Kevin Trudeau, a TV celebrity and #1 NY Times bestselling author. His books have sold an estimated 50 million copies.  When he launched this new MLM program in 1996, the company was publicly-traded on NASDAQ with a stock price of just .50 cents. In less than 18 months, over 200,000 joined this company.  Sales exceeded $250,000,000 and the stock went to $35.

Many people that got in at the beginning made millions. Don’t you wish that you could have gotten in at the very beginning back then?

In 1999, Kevin sold his equity and made yet another fortune.

Now, he is doing it again and this time I am not missing out.

In collaboration with over 30 other wealthy people from around the world,  he has launched a brand-new program…..…the Global Information Network.

For the first time in history, a money-making program is being launched worldwide simultaneously.  This opportunity is available to everyone around the world, no matter where they live.

This is a totally-new concept in information marketing.  You are among the very first people to be hearing about this. Those who get in on the ground floor of this type of opportunity have the chance to make the most money in the least amount of time.

90 days from today you could be making more money than you ever imagined.

This is the most revolutionary, money-making program that I have ever seen….and I have been involved with a lot of them.  Nothing like this has been done before. It has a MLM twist that could make this the fastest-growing MLM-type program of all time.

GIN is only one year old but you can still get in at the beginning of the beginning. This is the momentum stage and a ground floor, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

I am a member, and I believe millionaires will be made faster than with any other program……..ever!

People are already making huge money. One member made $148,200 his first month and his second month made over $288,600.

This is real and happening now.

I am personally inviting you to join and become a member of the Global Information Network.

Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance to get in on the ground floor launch of a major global money-making opportunity that could make you more money than you ever imagined.

Imagine making $5,000, $10,000, $20,000, even $50,000 per month, without ever leaving your home!

Reveal Your Best Self for 2011

According to a recent article by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, body fat increases the risk of death. An obese person may drop dead at any moment compared to a normal-weight person.

Now I know that all my readers are very smart and already know this.  I am surprised that it took the PCRM so long to figure it out.

Okay, my criticism is a little harsh but anyone with any sense knows this to be true.  Too much fat is hard on the heart and lungs not to mention the knees, hips and joints.

Heck, fat is hard on everything.  The parts just don’t work as well when surrounded by all that fat.  Remember how great you were with that lean and mean body at 20??  Remember how great you LOOKED?

The Big Supplement Scam

Are you inadvertently making yourself sick by your choice of vitamins or minerals?  If  they don’t come from a whole food source, than you are filling your body with a lot of garbage.  I don’t want you to waste your money any longer.

Companies that manufacture vitamin and mineral supplements are pulling the wool over our eyes.  If you don’t think this is true, you are sadly mistaken.

In the late 90’s, when I first became interested in natural health, I was in a group conversation with someone who worked for a company that encapsulates herbal products and other supplements.  This was a manufacturing facility, not a network marketing company.

One of the employees was telling us about all these extra ingredients that are added to supplements and that they get away with it because “the general public is too stupid to know the difference.”  I never forgot that conversation.

Not all supplements are on an even playing field obviously.  There are cheap ones and there are expensive ones.  What they have in common is that most of them contain many fillers, emulsifiers, excipients, flowing agents and other components that are poisons and thus detrimental to our health. They are used primarily to reduce the cost of production but they also render the supplements totally useless. (An excipient is an inactive substance that acts as a carrier of an active substance like in a medication.)

Take for example the substance magnesium stearate.   It is a lubricant and flowing agent generally made by hydrogenating cottonseed or palm oil. It is added to the raw materials in supplements so that the production machinery will run at maximum speeds. This fatty substance coats every particle of the nutrients so that the particles will flow rapidly.  I don’t know about you but I am not eating that!

Stearic acid, silicon dioxide and talc also seem to be the most common chemicals that I found in what should have been good-quality supplements…..and I’ve looked at a lot of them. They too are used during processing to prevent sticking or lumping.  As well, many of these chemicals are manufactured in China which makes them highly-suspect anyway.  Talc, specifically, has been banned in Europe because it is a known cancer-causing substance.  In North America, it is GRAS – Generally Recognized As Safe, a decision solely made by the manufacturer.

Watch out for “Natural” on the label too.  It does not mean that 100% of the product comes from natural sources.  Baking soda and sawdust are two substances that could be considered as “natural” as well as various flavourings.  They sometimes find their way into our supplements.  Have you heard about the facility in New Jersey that makes real flavours?  Oh sorry, they’re not real, they’re fake, but made to smell and taste real.

Sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate are two preservatives frequently added to so-called “super” juices in order to keep them fresh.  If you enquire about these two chemicals, you will be told that they are only added in “very minute” amounts.  What you will not be told is that they have a cumulative effect on the body.  Don’t believe otherwise.  I used to unknowingly tell this little fib.

Throw away any tablets too.  They use binders and other chemicals that hold them together.  A 100% pure cellulose vegetable capsule is best if you are taking pills.

Many of the synthetic-made supplements sold through MLM or nutrition stores stimulate the body and drive the cells crazy.  You will feel great for awhile and think that you are doing your body a great service.  Purchase these wisely and read all the labels.  Don’t just listen to someone’s story or testimonial.

Don’t buy a product based solely on price either, cheap or otherwise.  If a product is very expensive, make sure that you are getting what you pay for and not just something that is only padding someone else’s pockets.  Don’t get duped into loading up on products either as you need to watch the expiry dates.

99% of us don’t eat properly or get enough nutrients from our food.  That’s a given.  If you feel that you must supplement, purchase only those that come from real whole food sources.  There are lots of great supplements out there that fill that requirement.  Read the labels and ask questions.  If there are “Other” ingredients listed on the bottle or package, don’t purchase it.

I don’t generally take any specific supplements on a regular basis.  In contrast, I try to eat properly and not take in anything that is detrimental to my health.  Consequently, I have no health issues and take no medications.  I do, however, have some supplements hanging around the kitchen.  I like to try things out first before I make a recommendation.  I have since thrown out everything except for one bottle.  They all contained the ingredients that I have mentioned so I am refusing to try them.  I recommend that you do the same.

Not all products are created equal and many of them look the same to the uninformed consumer.  You are now informed.
